Prepared for Naomi · August 25, 2026 · For the next board meeting, under Decisions & Actions
Right now, every piece of Foundation business — donations, board mail, the Christmas drive — goes out from an address that belongs to JVPNG the networking group, not to the Foundation. The Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3). Its mail should look like it.
You already have a Foundation address. naomi@jvpngfoundation.org was
created on August 7. So was one for Brad. Neither has ever been opened, and nothing has ever
been sent from the Foundation domain — not one message.
| Director | The address they use | |
|---|---|---|
| Naomi Dingle | naomi.jvpng@gmail.com | personal Gmail |
| Gilbert Castillo | kbtexasflooring@gmail.com | personal Gmail |
| Fred Stewart | The Backyard Grill | his own company |
| Steve Spurling | Edward Jones | his own company |
| Chris Tyler | his law firm | his own company |
| John Labuda | CyFair Math | his own company |
| David Swallow | his brokerage | his own company |
| Mark Prehoda, Cyndy Justice | their own businesses | their own company |
| Brad Kellam | CyberFix | his own company |
Eight of ten directors use their own company address, and that is completely fine. Volunteer board members should not need a Foundation mailbox just to serve on a board. Nobody is suggesting we change that.
1. The Director is on personal Gmail. You handle more Foundation information than anyone — donor names, board documents, the collection-site list. That should carry a Foundation address, for you and for the Foundation.
2. Donations are pointed at the wrong domain. The Give page tells people to
send Zelle to donations@jvpng.com. That is the networking group's domain, being used to
collect charitable gifts for the Foundation. It should be
donations@jvpngfoundation.org.
Four addresses. Not ten.
| Address | Who uses it | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
naomi@jvpngfoundation.org | Naomi | Everything you send as Director. Already exists. |
donations@jvpngfoundation.org | the Foundation | The Zelle payee and every gift receipt |
board@jvpngfoundation.org | the board | The front door — agendas, packets, notices |
bk@jvpngfoundation.org | Brad | Systems and support. Already exists. |
And here is the important part: you would not have to check another inbox.
We can set it up so your Foundation address sends and receives inside the Gmail you already use every day. Nothing new to learn, nothing new to open. The only difference is what people see when your message arrives: it comes from the Foundation.
Three reasons, plainly:
It is the right separation. The Foundation is its own legal entity with its own EIN and its own 990 to file. Its mail should not run on the networking group's domain.
Donors trust it more. A gift receipt from donations@jvpngfoundation.org looks like a
charity. One from a Gmail account looks like a person.
It survives people. If a role changes hands, the address goes with the role. A personal Gmail walks out the door with whoever owns it.
donations@jvpng.com to
donations@jvpngfoundation.org.Nothing here has been changed yet. This is a recommendation for the board to decide on. Once you say go, setup takes about an hour and nobody has to change how they work. — Prepared by Brad's system, August 25, 2026.
